Entrusted by the state energy administration, China Machinery Industry Federation organized and held an appraisal meeting on thermal hydraulic test bench for C-type seal ring engineering samples and special materials and nuclear level seals of reactor pressure vessel of PWR nuclear power station jointly developed by China Nuclear Power Technology Research Institute Co., Ltd. and Suzhou Baohua Machinery Technology Co., Ltd. in Taicang, Jiangsu Province on January 11, 2014.

Looking back on August 2012, the National Energy Administration organized a review meeting on the development plan of the C-type sealing ring for the pressure vessel of the million kilowatt PWR nuclear power reactor, which put forward further requirements for the development of the C-type sealing ring. After more than one year's hard work and research and development, BaoJianFeng has finally achieved fruitful results. The appraisal meeting of thermal hydraulic test bench for C-type seal ring engineering samples and special materials and nuclear grade seals of PWR nuclear power plant reactor pressure vessel was held successfully. Attending the appraisal meeting were Huang Li, deputy director of science and Technology Equipment Department of national energy administration, Sui Yongbin, special consultant of China Machinery Industry Federation, academician Ye Qizhen, director of appraisal committee and leading experts.

The experts at the meeting listened to the report on the development of C-type sealing ring for reactor pressure vessel of PWR nuclear power plant, the report on the development of strip samples for C-type sealing ring and the report on the development of thermal hydraulic test bench for nuclear level sealing parts, and reviewed the relevant identification data. Then the expert group of the appraisal meeting specially inspected the production and processing site and bench test site of Baohua company, and strictly verified the technical parameters of C-type sealing ring engineering samples and special materials. On the basis of repeated argumentation and answering questions, the appraisal committee has scientifically appraised and evaluated the validity, reliability and various technical parameters of the thermal hydraulic test bench for C-type sealing ring engineering samples, special materials and nuclear level sealing parts according to the appraisal outline, which has passed the appraisal acceptance successfully.

The appraisal committee agreed that: the main technical performance of the C-type seal ring engineering sample meets the requirements of the technical specifications and relevant standards and specifications, and has reached the advanced level of similar products abroad, which can be applied in engineering; the nuclear level seal thermal hydraulic test bench is the first set of nuclear level seal thermal hydraulic test bench independently designed and built by Baohua, which can be used exclusively for nuclear level seal thermal hydraulic test bench, filling the gaps in China The energy index has reached the international advanced level.
